NET library that’s designed for solving optimization problems is not that popular. I believe this is the reason why Microsoft Solver Foundation. More or less everyone’s heard something about it: queen’s problems, traveling salesman problems and so on, but in reality, I have never seen any salesman who asked for a software to optimize his traveling path.
